Shooting the Crickett Adult Pistol 22 LR
A single shot pistol slows you down in a good way. Load one round, cock it, settle the sights and press. It’s a nice tool for practicing trigger control, and the 10.5 inch barrel gives a long sight radius for a handgun.
Who the Crickett Adult Pistol 22 LR is for
The Crickett Adult Pistol 22 LR suits adults who want a light single shot .22 handgun for plinking and small game where handguns are allowed. Handguns ship only to an FFL dealer, and buyers must meet the age rules for handgun transfers.
Keeping it in good shape
Run a patch through the bore after shooting and wipe the stainless steel down. Store it unloaded and locked.
22 LR or 22 WMR?
The 22 LR version is the one to pick for cheap practice and quiet plinking. The 22 WMR version hits harder and shoots flatter, which helps on small varmints, but the ammo costs more and it’s louder. Both share the same 10.5 inch stainless barrel, synthetic grip and 2.5 pound weight, and both cost the same. If you also own a Crickett rifle, matching the cartridge keeps your ammo simple.
Check your state and local rules on handgun ownership before you order. Your FFL dealer can tell you what paperwork applies where you live.
A lot of our customers buy one alongside a youth rifle in the same caliber, so a parent has something light to shoot at the same range session. The manual cocking action and rebounding firing pin work the same way as on the rifles, which makes it easy to keep one set of safety habits for the whole family. It’s also a handy pack pistol for small game on a trapline where handguns are legal.
