The Crickett Precision WMR Package is a .22 WMR (22 Magnum) rifle with a blued steel 16.125 inch barrel. It ships as a package with a 4×28 scope with sun shade, an adjustable bipod, a muzzle brake on the threaded bull barrel, the EZ Loader feed ramp and Crickettinny rails. It’s $309 and in stock. Add it to your cart and enter your preferred FFL dealer at checkout.
Inside the Crickett Precision WMR Package
Think of it as a small competition rifle. The stock is built around a precision setup with an adjustable cheek piece, the barrel is heavier than the standard Crickett, and there’s room for optics. It loads one round at a time.
Length of pull is 11.875 inches, which suits most young shooters, it comes with iron sights and a receiver drilled and tapped for an optics rail. The Crickett line carries a lifetime warranty against defects in material and workmanship from the maker.
Blued steel looks sharp and costs a little less than stainless. A quick wipe with an oily rag after use keeps rust away.
What’s in the Crickett Precision WMR Package box
- 4×28 scope with sun shade
- Adjustable bipod
- Muzzle brake on a threaded bull barrel
- EZ Loader feed ramp
- Crickettinny rails on the buttstock and forend
Everything in the box is ready to go together, so you don’t need to shop for rings or mounts. Plan on one range trip to zero the scope. Most .22 shooters zero at 50 yards.
Why choose 22 Magnum?
The .22 WMR (22 Magnum) shoots a 30 to 40 grain bullet much faster than a .22 LR, so it carries more energy out to 100 yards and beyond. It’s a good step up for groundhogs, coyotes at close range and other small varmints. Ammo costs more than .22 LR and the report is louder. SAAMI lists the official cartridge and chamber drawings, and Wikipedia has a readable .22 WMR history.

Is the Crickett Precision WMR Package right for you?

- Youth programs and 4-H shooting clubs

Supervise young shooters every time. The National Shooting Sports Foundation has a helpful safety resource page for families.
Setup and care tips
After a range day, run a few patches through the bore from the breech end and wipe the metal down. Store the rifle unloaded and locked, with the ammo kept somewhere else. A cable lock through the open action is cheap and works.
